Shan is a photographer, speaker and educator based out of Isle of Man, London, ​UK. She captures timeless moments for baby and family photography.

SERVICE: Social Media Management

GOALS

Shan aims to enhance her use of social media, particularly Instagram, to attract new ​students by providing educational and entertaining content focused on white-themed ​photography to both women and men in the United Kingdom and worldwide.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Females and males Newborn & Family Photographers between 25 to 55
  • Start-up photographers
  • For photography sessions - located in London, specifically Douglas, Ramsey, Onchan, ​Peel, Port Erin, and other surrounding cities
  • For education - located worldwide

PAIN POINTS OF TARGET AUDIENCE

Photographers who are:

  • Struggling to master white-themed photography techniques and aesthetics.
  • Looking to improve client experience and editing skills and need guidance on lighting, ​setup, posing, angles, wrapping, and capturing connections. (Learning New Skills)
  • Overwhelmed by expenses such as studio space, props, and equipment and concerned ​about the high costs of running a photography business. (Financial Challenges)
  • Frustrated by long hours with low profitability from newborn sessions and finding it ​hard to balance work with personal life due to demanding schedules. (Work-Life ​Balance)
  • Lacking confidence in photography skills and portfolio quality and fear of not being ​good enough to justify raising prices. (Building Confidence)

INSTAGRAM STRATEGY

I set Shan to post 5 times per week (with 1-2 reels and 1-2 carousel/static posts) for the first ​two months. I provided a built out content calendar for two months with variety of ​different content styles. And in the third month, were able to capture the best timing to ​post and engage with a mixture of her personalized content pillars, while also looking at ​her analytics after each month of working together. I gave her an Instagram Rebrand of ​the feed and taught her things such has SEO, hashtags, how to optimize her profile, and ​much more to help her page grow.
